International Plant Names Index

NatureServe Explorer - an online encyclopedia of life
A source for authoritative conservation information on more than 50,000 plants, animals, and ecological communities of the United States and Canada.

Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center

PLANTS Database
A source of standardized information about plants from the USDA. The database focuses on vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories.

Species 2000 - Catalogue of Life

New Zealand Plant Conservation Network
The New Zealand Plant Conservation Network was established in 2003 with the vision that 'no indigenous species of plant will become extinct nor be placed at risk of extinction as a result of human action or indifference, and that the rich, diverse and unique plant life of New Zealand will be recognised, cherished and restored'.
